I would recommend this product. It worked really well. I’m going to upgrade to the bigger 5G later, but for now the smaller travfi works great.

Used at a state campground. One site looked like I had connectivity but no data moved. Was at another site and it looked connected and data was about 1.5 down and .8 up based on speed test. I am happy with the product but not thrilled. Still u sure if I will keep it. I did connect while at home in a solid signal area and it was better than my home cable modem.

  3. Amazon Customer

It was easy to set up and the customer service was great when we had to call to select a plan.

Love this portable wifi we take it everywhere with us for camping. Only had an issue in one spot when we were down in a valley where we didnt have no signal at all. Only 100 some bucks a month for unlimited data and you pay as you go!

I purchased one from Amazon and the device wouldn’t stay on for more than an hour. It kept overheating and then just went into a restart cycle over and over. I had to turn it off and let it cool down and then try again to get less than an hour the next time. I returned it and ordered directly from the company instead of Amazon, and had the same issue with the second unit. It would only stay running it I had it sitting on top of an icepack the entire time it was on. The company has kind customer service agents, but they are either not educated on their product or not authorized to really help in any way that is useful. I took the loss on the second unit but cancelled services. Wrote an email and never received a response.

I absolutely love my travelfi. I am a mother of 3 and a college student. My children kindergartens so they require lot of attention. Most of our time are spent outside in the park and at playgrounds or trampoline park. This devise allow me to engage with my children by not neglecting their need to interact with other children, and still get my assignments completed.

Good price & works like a charm! Easy to set up, easy to understand how to operate it.
Going to take it with us in our RV – seems much better than campground WiFi , phone hotspots or our antenna. Now we’ll have commercial free news & our favorite show & movies. Like that you can buy only as many gigs as you’ll need or buy more if you need it. Caution: unused data doesn’t roll over to the next month.

For a travel hotspot, we have really enjoyed this device. Easy to setup, and has been pretty reliable. We couldn’t get good signal in Theodore Roosevelt National Park, which was weird as our cell phones worked at the campground just fine. So far, that’s been our only glitch. Otherwise, it does what it says it will. And for reference, we stream prime and YouTube and use wifi on our phones if needed. Wish it were a few dollars cheaper and that it was easier to turn off and on. Like a simple button on the app. I also with they would allow us to turn off and on more often for those of us that may or may not be out in the RV for months on end. Overall a good buy.
