Yeah, it’s pricey, but It works so much better than every other detector I’ve owned over the last 40 years and I upgrade every 4 or 5 years. False alarms are “almost” nonexistent. The attached dashcam is a nice touch.

Very good Radar detector. However when you receive it don’t use right away. First download the drive Smarter app and change the settings to your prefference. Also look at videos on “You Tube” first. Get to understand the radar detector and drive safely. It’s not a ticket free guarentee. Keep your eyes open and make sure about the warning you recieve before you decide to lock the signal out.

Not happy at All! The detector wont sync with app and it didn’t come with the cable to hook to my PC for update! I wanted to just have one sent out to replace the one that isn’t working correctly and not have to deal with the issues to only find out they will only refund and not send a replacement! meaning I won’t see my money for up to 40 days to replace it after they receive it and all I want is the damn thing to work!
Called customer service and they tried to help but then told to just buy the cable for the update, for the money I spent on this you would think they would offer to send one out!

Purchased this radar in May 2025 and after week of using it, did a return. I don’t know what’s going on with this radar but it was constantly catching Ka signals from all over the world while my other radar Uniden R8 was quite all the time unless there’s a real threat. It would give me a full strong signal and then slow down, you can’t trust that radar and while you driving, you are constantly on edge. 0 stars out of 10. Expensive and useless. Please don’t buy it. Uniden R8 is your best choice.
