I have had many espresso machines, including the Terra Kaffe 2, and this machine is fantastic. It’s practical, almost thoughtful; it anticipates any of the problems we could have with it, like spilling or grinds going everywhere. It is absolutely fantastic, and the espresso is a game changer..

Great machine for folks who are not familiar with the whole espresso business. Easy to setup and use, great taste, and versatile. The wife and I think this thing is great. If you are an expert on espresso machines, can’t tell you if it’s gonna blow your hair back, but it has been good for us so far.
Brew espresso double and quad
Brew drip coffee (max 18oz at once)
Brew cold brew
Haven’t tried the cold pressed yet
All foam functions have been dope (only used dairy whole milk)

This is the one of the best investments in home beverage appliances that I have ever made. It consistently makes coffee house style beverages and is a breeze to setup and maintain. I never thought my husband would become a coffee bean connoisseur, but after getting the Cafe Lux for Father’s Day, that allows you to grind your own beans, he has become my favorite barista. Do yourself a favor and invest I. This machine and stop paying $7-8 a cup far the coffee house.

Overall I like it…except 2 things (so far). First let me say that it is nice looking and feels solid. So, far (and I’m no expert) I am pleased with the product results, i.e., the coffee and espresso are good (my beans may be a bit old and therefore, I’m not getting the crema I expected with the espresso). The 2 issues I’m having thus far is: 1) when I put the portafilter (with the funnel) into the grinder, it is very loose and I occasionally get an error message that I need to put the funnel on the portafilter, and 2) when I lock the portafilter into the machine, it is so tight that the machine moves on the counter top. I have to hold the machine with my left hand while I lock-in the portafilter in with my right.

I initially got into espresso with a delonghi linea classica which is an entry level machine that costs about 250 bucks. I enjoyed watching videos and buying upgraded portafilters and tamps and other accessories. I like level of involvement in making my own coffee drinks. However I’m no barista by any means and ended up getting frustrated a lot and made many mistakes. I came across this machine and it took a lot of frustration away. The brew assist was a big help. Although I’m not trained on what notes to look for in my coffee I buy freshly roasted whole beans which makes a huge impact. I typically add a double shot to my coffee in the mornings and it makes my coffees taste amazing. I love how I can still be hands on with my coffee making in the morning. Whenever we have guests over I love being able to make cappuccinos or espresso drinks for them, and they love how well everything tastes.
I’ve had absolutely no issues with this machine. I’ve owned it for a few months now and it makes me look forward to getting up every morning to brew a shot of espresso. I was a little hesitant on a consumer type of machine like this but it has been great. Takes a lot of my novice guesswork out of the picture and allows me to make fun, delicious drinks. We have a small butlers pantry and it fits perfect in that small area. I believe in time I may step up my game and add on another “pro-Sumer” espresso machine in the future, but this Ninja Luxe will always maintain to be my main staple for brewing amazing tasting coffee drinks.

Don’t hesitate! I am a tried and true ninja fan- we have the coffee bar and was only fitting we got the ninja espresso machine too! This was our second espresso machine, I had originally got one that was cheaper and it stopped working within a month. The ninja has worked wonderfully, has so many different options for making coffee. Can detect was level to grind your beans on based on the beans itself and what coffee you are looking to make. If you are new to espresso drinks, this machine makes it easy for you. I can make an awesome espresso in just a few minutes and then can walk away while it does its magic! The frother can even clean itself. I love it, it’s a must for me!

I unfortunately bought a model months ago and it was like a horrible science project. I couldn’t ever get it right. Months later spent what I should of on this. No regrets! I can have coffee or cappuccino, the froth is wonderful! Dont waste your money on anything else. Its wonderful

Greatest home coffee machine ever!! I’ve held out for years on getting a proper coffee maker, relying on my French Press. The Ninja arrived yesterday evening, taking only one day from order to delivery. I quickly unwrapped all the components and followed the video tutorial for setup and calibration. It took 30 minutes from arrival to being ready to brew. It seems daunting at first but the process is actually very simple. The details all make sense. The actual machine seems very well constructed. The accessories are solid and heavy. The reservoir has enough volume for plenty of cups. The bean grinder holds an entire bag of beans. Every aspect of it is exceptionally well designed and constructed. I had to run to a night shift before actually trying the espresso/coffee. On my drive home this morning, eagerly anticipating using my Ninja, I contacted my girlfriend to share in the suspense. We brewed quad espressos from our French Roast whole beans and topped it with frothed caramel Silk (almond) creamer. The process was simple and easy to follow. Brewing and frothing took about three minutes for each cup. I rinsed the accessories and left them to dry. Then… we sipped our homemade cappuccinos. Sitting in the comfort of home, saving $16 on *bucks, we fell silent. It was beyond our expectations. Incredible. Pure satisfaction. I can’t speak highly enough of this machine. It was so good, we adjourned to the bedroom. Two hours later, while she’s running errands, I’ve taken to writing this review and brewed a rich drip coffee with the Ninja. It is equally as good. I’ve texted my girlfriend and asked when she’ll be back.
