Great printer. So happy don’t have to keep buying ink
Rich Kern –
Have purchased many color inkjet printers over the years and they have never lasted. Plus the cartridges are very expensive.
I finally purchased this HP Color Laserjet Pro MFP 3301sdw Wireless All-in-One Color Laser Printer, Scanner, Copier and am glad I did. The color printing is very good quality and it prints fast. The scanning and copying work great and gives you several options of where you want the output sent. It was very easy to set up.
The one downside is that I keep getting an error message saying the printer is out of paper but there is plenty of paper in the machine. I have it attached to one computer wired and another is wireless. Both get the same error message.

Starter toner doesn’t last terribly long and replacements are pricey. It works great, however. Being in my 70s, I sure wish manuals came in print with the product!! My only real complaint so far is that to change the size of the document,, whether to increase or reduce its size, takes the manual to figure out. My previous printer was much simpler with a clearly defined button to do that.

A great all-in-one printer for the price! It’s easy to set up and use! Highly recommend and have never been disappointed in any HP printers.

I set this up in my office and had problems with it right from the get go. It kept giving me the same “problems” that I needed to correct. One paper drawer was empty, another one was empty – it was such a frustrating experience I must have forgotten the others.
BUT … to make the experience even more frustrating, Amazon hooked me up with a technician who spent 8 HOURS trying to get it to work. He made me watch videos showing how to load the paper. One for drawer one, another for drawer two. I watched them before I got in touch with him, but I think I watched them at least 7 times each. He called me the next day, ready to work on it again.
When I asked him why he was so invested in trying to fix the printer, he blew me off. After another hour or two I told him I was ordering another printer from another place. Then he was showing me printers I didn’t want from vendors I didn’t want. He was trying to help me by controlling the screen. But when he was busy with something else, I bought another printer from the venue I decided to use.
Then I very politely chewed him out, told him what was wrong with the darn thing, and to get off my computer. He did, but before that he told me to call him and he’d help me set up my new printer. I once again politely, told him that I’d been installing printers for 40 years and that my husband used to repair these machines. He did try to text me the next day, but I blocked him,

I bought this HP LaserJet Pro because I needed a printer that does printer things. It prints. It scans. It might fax, but I haven’t faxed anything since Blockbuster was still a thing, so… who knows?
Setup was shockingly easy. I only screamed into the void once, which is a personal best for modern tech. It connected to Wi-Fi, didn’t require a blood pact, and hasn’t disconnected itself randomly to go explore other Wi-Fi networks like a rebellious teenager.
Printing is fast and clean. Scanning works great too, assuming you enjoy reliving the soul-sucking nostalgia of mid-2000s office jobs. No complaints.
BUT.
This printer has a personality. And by personality, I mean it occasionally wakes up in the dead of night, groans to life like Frankenstein’s monster, and makes random printer noises for no reason whatsoever. I’m talking 2 a.m., dead silent house, and suddenly your printer decides to clear its throat. It’s not printing. It’s not scanning. It’s just… being.
Maybe it’s normal. Maybe it’s haunted. All I know is that if I get dragged into the Upside Down, this printer’s coming with me.
Anyway, if you want a printer that does its job without throwing tantrums, and you’re cool with it possibly being possessed by a ghost from OfficeMax — this is the one.
