I have to admit I was scare to purchase this mattress. I’ve had lower back pain for over 25 years and I need a rock hard mattress for back, side and stomach sleepers. I went to all the big name companies and the reviews were crap. I read through the reviews of this queen size extra firm and decided to take a chance. I use it with an adjustable frame and let me tell you, I AM IN HEAVEN!!!!! This mattress is extra firm everywhere, from the middle of the mattress, out the the sides. If I sit on any edge of this mattress, it doesn’t buckle. It is a real mattress that was delivered in a queen size box. Now, it was hard for me to pull it in the house, down the hall, get it out the box and put in on the bed, however it was well worth it. Once again, it’s a real mattress not one that has to inflate.

Full: I’m 225lbs & a stomach sleeper. It is extremely comfortable & has retained its extra firmness without a hint of wear. My frame is fortified with 1″ OSB over 3/4″ bunky boards, which doesn’t allow this bed to bend/warp. This is probably cheating, but stabilizes the firmness.
Twin: My daughters bed is the same extra firmness, and is supported by 3/4″ boards as well. No complaints from her at this time.
The bad: Beds were constantly being pushed back in delivery time, due to using outside LTL carriers. Both beds had separate ETA’s & arrived a week late.
For now, the beds are holding up well & I will give a 2nd year review late 2025. I will still recommend!

Highly disappointed at this purchase.
First, always look at the Law Label…the tag at the foot of the mattress. This shows that it’s an innerspring with two additional layers. Now, read the product description noting the many, many layers. I wish I could unzip a side to show what’s actually inside. But it’s really hard as a rock and hardly the comfort level advertised. I feel completely deceived.
If this were a true SERTA mattress I’d expect it to be manufactured by SSB Manufacturing which is the SERTA mattress and factory location. This is manufactured by a licensee that can build a SERTA mattress, ah, very different. I wondered why I received a text message from Lowes – yes the home DIY store – that stated my order was on the way! Yikes, not cool. This means the mattress was sitting somewhere since May and I got it in August. Not the case when you order a true SERTA mattress, they make it for you and the label law states the manufacturing date so you know.
It’s accurately described as low-profile and XL. But it’s going back for lack of comfort.

First time I ordered a matress online and it not disappoint. It was delivered in a rectangular box to my home, my entry way. I was able to move it by myself to my room and place on my box spring. I love the firmness of my new Serta Perfect sleeper. Other features: no motion transfer, hybrid with memory foam and gel foam, comfortable top, and no harsh odors nor chemical smells.
