I like everything about the watch except the band and it’s clasp. I’ll probably get another band for next season. It’s accurate, and syncs to a cloud app, and the map and hole vue feature is great.

Really nice bright vibrant screen, accurate distances and easy interface. Better then the Garmin S60 in terms of screen resolution, graphics and accuracy with distances. Garmin has more features and better integration with your smartphone. If you just want a really good golf watch with accurate distances this is by far the best available. The Garmin is a close second as it does have a better interface and is smoother going between the menu options and has some extra features like caddy assist. For me this was perfect as I didn’t need those extra features from Garmin and didn’t want to pay $200 more.

I got this watch for my wife since she is always asking me for yardages. She actually went online and found it. I have to tell that you that I was a little skeptical on buying this watch since I thought that for such a low price it wouldn’t work as well as my watch that is double the price. I have to tell you, we went out last week and both had our watches on. Our yardages were very similar and hers gave us so much more information that mine, like how far our shot was to the water and how deep the greens were. I am very impressed with how this watch works and how clear it is to read. I can’t tell you too much about battery life since we have played one round but this watch is definitely an excellent watch to get for the average player.

I’ve used Skycaddie GPS units for over twenty years…my wife bought me a competitor’s GPS a few years ago..used it for few weeks and went back to my Skycaddie..
Last year I bought the SX 500 an outstanding GPS, however a few months ago someone stole it off my pull cart while I was in the pro shop, I immediately contacted Skycaddie and had it turned off..
I debated on getting the LX5, told myself it would be to small, wouldn’t be able to read the information, would be difficult to swing with a watch on my wrist and on and on..
I was absolutely wrong, this thing is so accurate, very easy to read, no issues with the size on my swing…I love it…I dire anyone to steal this off my wrist..
I’ve read a few question the cost, it’s part of your game, do you play with a $100.00 driver or wear crap shoes..No you don’t..
Buy the damm thing and enjoy, you’ll thank me…

I have had a Skycaddie product before and found it really good. This watch is also fantastic, Clear screen and easy to use. The battery life seems to be very good although I have only had it for 2 weeks.
The setting up is not that easy but when Skycaddie app is loaded the syncing to the watch is very easy.
Good value for the money and now is the time to buy as there are offers around.

Bought as my old model died !
Always liked Garmin and would always recommend over other similar brands.

Very good golf gps watch, not perfect as a smartwatch.

The Lx5 has a bright easy to read face and offers many great golf hole and course information. It’s like owning one of skycaddie handheld golf devices but on your wrist. Easy to use and manipulate screens. It paired with the skycaddie 360 app easily. For just golf it may be the most accurate and best one on the market. It counts steps and gives you your average heart rate on a separate screen. It’s at this point the Lx5 falls short of being a true smart/fitness watch. Does not offer phone notifications, predefined workouts or most other features offered by garmin or golfbuddy.

If your interested in a golf watch that is accurate, easy to use and offers skycaddie accuracy and detail, this one is one you should look at seriously. If you’re wanting a golf gps with true smartwatch you may want to look elsewhere.

With this in mind I would definitely recommend the Lx5.

At $300.00 it’s a bit pricey but does come with a prepaid 3 year skycaddie membership.

As for build and durability, only time will tell. The case is plastic, the crystal is plastic and the interhangeable band is silicone or rubber. As for battery usage, you can expect to get two full rounds from a full charge.

Has great info but not easy to use

  9. ilsantobevitore

Difficile da capire e quindi da utilizzare nn sono soddisfatto dell’acquisto

  10. Davis

Go for Garmin, don’t be fooled by the low price. Battery doesn’t even last one round. Except for bright display it has nothing going for it. Very clumsy response and poor software and top it all international golf courses are not covered by the free 3 year membership, for that one needs to buy membership costing $50 a year (no upgrade option). Answer is Garmin, Garmin Garmin!

    Mauvaise batterie

  12. Amazon Customer

Really like it. Very accurate. Getting used to all the features

Not a great product. No instructions were included. It is NOT my first golf watch. It wasn’t intuitive. I had to open it to try. I googled instructions on its workings. I decided right away it wasn’t for me. I packed it right back up and returned it. The Amazon site says 30 day returns but the company kept most of the money and I received 40% of my money back.
    A complete rip off!!!
